Michelle Eaton (Eaton Interiors, Sacramento, California) is among the growing ranks of interior design professionals dedicated to enhancing their expertise in window fashion design. Since attending her first two-day conference in Portland 16 years ago, Eaton has earned certification through the Window Fashions Certified Professionals program and is excited to share her experiences with the program and how it has given her business a boost. Michelle's business is a full service design firm from designing remodels to new construction and from one room to a whole house. She specializes in all aspects of residential and small commercial projects.

 

Having an extensive background in window treatments and have taken classes in many states and have taken the Associate, Specialist and now the Masters tests plus submitted projects to be able to be called a 'Master Window Fashion Professional'. Another love of Michelle's is the use of 'Fabric and Color'. For the 6 years Michelle has given seminars on 'Color' at the Home & Landscape Expo at Cal Expo. Michelle was a Space Planning and Interior Designer for Pacific Bell for 8 years in San Francisco, San Ramon and Sacramento. In 1989 she began Eaton Interiors. Michelle has been internationally recognized and honored three times for her designs in "Window Fashions" magazine. Also, she has been recognized and published in the Sacramento Bee, Sacramento Magazine, Home Improvement & Remodeling magazine and Women Contractors Executive magazine.

Michelle is a Professional member of ASID (American Society of Interior Designers). She was the California Central/Nevada Chapter President in 1999-2000 and 2001-2002 and has been active on the Regional and National Boards since 1992.  Ms. Eaton is a Certified Interior Designer #0315.

 

Ms. Eaton is also a Professional member of IDS (Interior Design Society) and a member of NKBA (National Kitchen and Bath Association).
